is it legal to sell sex toys in india

My mind still boggles when I think about the fact that the sale of sex toys in India is completely legal! India is quite a conservative country when it comes to gender norms, and yet here we are allowing the sale of pleasure toys, the likes of which would have been unheard of a few years ago.

I’ve seen my fair share of doomsday-mongering grandmothers rolling their eyes at the news, talking about how youths these days don’t need such gimmicks. But the truth is, they do. For many couples out there, sex toys are the much needed makeover of a boring sex life. And if something so simple can improve your sex life, then why not?

The availability of sex toys in India helps people explore their sexuality in a country which, ironically, is notorious for its warped idea of sex. No matter what anyone tells you, there’s a world of sexual ideas and fantasies outside the conventional ones that we’re all too used to being force-fed. It’s only a matter of opening our eyes and vibrators being willing to explore.

Add to that the fact that sex toys provide an efficient and affordable way of alleviating the stress of everyday life, and it’s no surprise that their demand has been increasing so rapidly in the last few years. It’s true that there still is a social stigma attached to sex toys in India. Ironically, the same people who tout practical ways of leading a happier life often are the one to look down upon them.

But it’s inspiring that despite all these naysayers, a healthy and vibrant market for vibrators sex toys is emerging under the patronage of the Indian Government. An influx of entrepreneurs is slowly establishing the market, many of them engaging in safe and transparent practices related to the sale of sex toys.

Sure, I don’t subscribe to the idea that sex toys are necessary for everyone. But if used responsibly, they can be a great way to keep your sex life fresh and exciting. Plus, with the upcoming list of online stores providing sex toys in India, it’s never been easier to buy something for yourself if you wish to. So what do you think? Is it time to finally explore your wild side?
